Mini-rant alert:
This is one of the days I wish I was Polish. Having learned, a week late, that Premier Jaroslaw Kaczynski of Poland wants an anti-abortion amendment to that nation's constitution. Even with this great news, a world where liberalism has destroyed the West's faith in every locale except Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the dinky island of Malta is not to my taste. And I can only picture how bad it will be when I'm sixty or so. On the other hand, I will probrably outlive the Novus Ordo, which would live on only in horror stories to my grandchildren of the time Fr. Hamilton skipped his homily, a replacement priest said Marx and Mohammed were doing "the Jesus thing", or when the former Father said of well-placed tabernacles, "Jesus said, 'Take this, all of you and eat it', not 'Take this, all of you and stare at it'!"
Otherwise, things are proceeding auspiciously. I have learned that Long-Skirts is a published poet, and she once said my work was better than hers. One would think from this that my woprk would be appreciated by the Traditionalist powers that be. But when I mailed the Remnant my Sonnet XXIX as an accompaniment to Mr. Ferrara's excellent "Reconquista", it was ignored, while letters criticizing our President took precedence. I love the Remnant, really I do, but I can't help but feeling I got the shaft unjustly. Nonetheless, the Remnant is the best source of Popish news in print, so anyone not already subscribed ought to visit www.remnantnewspaper.com.
That's been enough for today; I am a-thinkin' I'll check into GalliaWatch.
