My new prediction- the G.O.P. will come out even stronger after November 7! Crazy? A recent poll showed the G.O.P. and the Democrats in a dead heat, and the Iraq war with 52% support. Yet the left keeps pushing for immediate withdrawal, and they are already recognized, truthfully, as desiring to raise taxes. Even better yet, Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) is getting wrapped up in his own scandal, refuting the idea that the Republicans are the party of corruption. As for good 'ol Taxachusetts, Kerry Healey, due to her fiscal conservatism, seems poised to win vs. Deval Patrick, though if I were old enough to vote, I'd consider voting for Cristy Mihos, the independent, as voting for any woman running for public office offends the traditional roles of women in society. Also, I'm fully behind Kenneth Chase's campaign for senate (I donated to him), but he has no realistic chance of beating Ted Kennedy. Oh, rats! I wish AA could just take him in for us!
